These terms apply to your use of www.retirement-builders.net, its calculators and our newsletter, published by Retirement Builders (“we”, “us”). By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. Education only
All content and calculators are for general education only and are not financial, investment, tax, legal, pension or insurance advice. Results are estimates, not guarantees. Please read our Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
2. Acceptable use
You may use the website and calculators for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- use the website in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone’s rights;
- try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
- scrape, copy or republish substantial parts of the website automatically, or use it to build a competing service, without our written permission;
- present our content or calculator results as personal advice to others, or as if they come from you.
You may quote short extracts with a clear credit and a link to the original page.
3. Intellectual property
The texts, calculators, code, design, logo and the name “Retirement Builders” belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Official figures we publish come from the government and other sources named on each page; their own terms apply. If we offer data as a download, any reuse licence will be stated with that download; otherwise section 2 applies.
4. Third-party links and services
We link to official sources, research and other websites, and our newsletter sign-up runs on beehiiv. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices.
5. Liability
We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the website, its calculators, our newsletter or any linked website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Changes
We may change the website or these terms at any time. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using the website after a change, the new terms apply.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Curaçao, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or the website will be submitted to the Court of First Instance of Curaçao (Gerecht in eerste aanleg van Curaçao).
If you are a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of that country where those laws allow it.
